IT TAKES TIME (movie)

Synopsis:

It was the last day of school just before the long summer break. Many of the children are filled with excitement and anticipation because camp Red Feather is just days away! The children are excited to see their friends from last year, while others are gearing up for the end of summer games. Mountain Elementary school is going up against their rivals George Washington Academy. Forbidden puppy love will bloom and the pranks will fly as the children encounter typical conflicts and stereotypes in this multicultural town. But things do not go as planned when the campers have an unexpected run in with nature. Will the town’s people be able to put aside their differences to save the children in time?

It takes time… the movie is presented by Seneca Films, a company whose mission is to establish a Native owned, controlled, and operated Production Company. They represent a new imagination and initiative in the fast-moving world of modern communications.

The company maintains its production operations in Kahnawake; a Mohawk reservation nestled along the St. Lawrence River near Montreal, Quebec.

SHERRY BÉDARD
scriptwriter

Sherry has worked with animals in the movies and is a professional dog trainer. She is currently completing a documentary on canine abandonment and she works closely with animal shelters.

JAMIE DIABO
RESEARCH & development

Jamie works in research development for the movie. As a Native American, she has shared some of the Native secrets to make this film even better.
